August 16 Dillion, MT

Where did the summer go? Of course, we were only home 40 days and 40 nights. That makes for a very short summer.

We felt like we were busy the whole time with unpacking and processing the stuff from the Montana ABC, getting our orders in for food and books and then packing the truck again. I could go into much more detail, but it's already midnight on our first day out.

First we had to finish packing our personal things, then go to Boise and pick up the rest of the frozen food, then start driving. We drove about 8 hours, to Dillion, MT. We went to two RV Parks, trying to find a place to stay. Both were small places with short spaces. We couldn't have parked there even in the daylight. So we went to a Super 8 motel. They are going to let us park in their parking lot, plug in to electricity and not charge us. We're very happy about that. It's late, we're tired and don't want to try to figure out a "Plan 4".
