August 28 Billings, MT

This day has gone by so fast. I did laundry this morning. Usually the washers go 15 - 25 minutes. I had one washer that went more than an hour. I actually had clothes dry before it quit washing. And it was so loud that you could hear it way down the sidewalk, by the next building.

Jim worked in the trailer all day and I did too after I finished with my housework. I don't know how we would survive without Sabbaths for worship and rest, and another day in the week to catch up. Some of our shelves were all but empty.

Jim and I have new 'pet names' for each other. It's either 'excuse me' or 'I'm sorry' or on bad days 'MOVE'. It gets so close in the truck sometimes that one usually has to move so the other one can do something. We're always bumping into each other.

We're seeing a lot more color in the trees, reds and yellows. Some of the leaves are already falling. It's warm during the day, but definitely cool or even cold at night.

There's a big motor home parked next to ours. They were outside watching a ball game on their TV on a big flat screen TV built in the side of their motor home. Now they are really roughing it!
