Aunt Ruth died this morning. She was Mother's twin sister. She was kind of like another mother to us, only better sometimes when we were growing up. She's the one who gave us a dime or quarter to spend as we wanted. She took us to get a soda or hamburger. She got to do the special stuff while Mother got to be the mother. Aunt Ruth just turned 86 three weeks ago. We will miss her.
