We had a very entertaining morning. Very early the pilot light went out on the furnace. So, no heat! Jim got up and re lit it. The pilot went out again. We figured we had run out of propane. So then Jim turned on the electric heater to keep us warm the rest of the night. When Jim came back from his shower that heater had thrown the breaker. He did get it going again.
I decided to put in another load of wash since the sheets were still damp from Friday night's rain. So I put them in one washer and put my money in the next machine. I had to hurry and move my clothes to the other washer. Seems like I did that once last year too. Then when I moved them to the dryer, the machine ate my quarters. So I had to move them to the next dryer. All this happened before breakfast!
Later Jim filled the propane tanks. It wasn't even half empty. The furnace has worked fine since then.
See how exciting our lives are sometimes? It's just one event after another. Mostly, I think it's funny.
We had planned on getting to the Church for our sale an hour early, because of daylight savings time changing. The one clock Jim forgot to change was in the trailer where he was working this morning. We got to the Church about 5 minutes early. Our sale was nice. Some places buy mostly food, others mostly books. This was a book place.
We went to the Olive Garden tonight with Ron & Viki and Pastor Charles & Judy Buursma. I guess I forgot to tell you, our campsite is next to the Buursma's. Last year when we were here in Grand Junction was there last Sabbath at the Grand Junction Church. This year they're back as evangelist here in the Fruita area, where our RV camp is located.
We've "connected more dots" with them, then we have with most. They had moved to Kansas the year after I left in 1983, so we know lots of the same Kansas people. We also know the same people from Colorado, Texas, Alabama and Idaho. Besides that, they are nice people!
We topped off the evening at their trailer for ice cream. No way could we even get six people in our living area, let alone seat them! It was a great evening.
