This morning when we went out to the truck (we're staying in motels this week) the first thing we heard was the carbon monoxide alarm. It got down in the teens again last night, so Jim turned the heat on to keep the pipes from freezing. I was going to open a couple windows, but they were frozen shut. We left the door open. It took about 10 minutes before the alarm went off.
We had two sales today. Cedar City Church is small and several of their people were out of town, working or came to our second sale in St George (about 60 miles south). So we had three customers. Luckily it was only an hour sale.
The St George sale was better. We were busy the first hour. We got some work done the second hour until a man came in. He had just toured the Mormon temple. Now he was touring an Adventist Bookmobile. I'm not sure what his religion was, but it was different. Kind of a potpourri of lots of things. He shared with us for about a half hour.
One of the things he shared, was that he used to be a hippie. He still looks like one - he had a gray pony tail in the front and back. His beard was at least 18" long, with a couple bands every 6" or so. Interesting!!!
Our motel tonight is cool. It has part of the room sectioned off as a living room with a small coouch in it. The couch is as hard as a rock. The TV is in the bedroom part. If you set on the couch to watch TV, it won't work. There's a half wall in the way. Good idea, bad planning. Funny!!
