The school here had their Fall Festival tonight. We were suppose to start our sale at 6:30. At 6:00 they were knocking on the door, wanting to know if we were open. From 6:15 to 9:15 we were wall to wall people. I don't know how they can shop when we're that full. I felt like I was running all evening and I was just standing there checking people out.
we talked to the school principal after it was all over. He said there was probably 650 people there tonight. I'm sure all of them didn't come on the truck, but close. Maybe only 649.
It's almost 11:00 now. Our next sale is at 9:00 A.M. We had to stay late to restock and clean up. Some of the shelves were almost empty. And lots of people have no idea how to put books back on the shelves. The kids games and puzzles were a real mess. It was a great sale. We certainly didn't have any time for visiting with the customers.
