Another miracle! My cousin called me this morning. She told me about the storm that went through Price the day we left. I can't remember now if there was rain or snow but they definitely had a wind storm. My Aunt Florence's garage blew down. They had two cars in it at the time. They were able to get the smaller car out, but the other one is holding up the roof. They couldn't do anything until the insurance people came to look and since the whole town has wind damage, that could be awhile.
I'm so glad that we didn't have to drive in that, or even just being parked during the wind storm could have some very moving moments!
We got our roof vent fixed. The first place we went said the soonest they could do it would be tomorrow. That's what the second place said too. Then they asked when Jim needed it done. He said "Now". So they did it NOW. And they only charged $40. for parts and labor. What a deal!
We got to eat lunch at Marie Callendar's. We had hot potato soup in front of a fire place. On a cold, blustery day, that was great!
We had a lot of great people come in for our sale tonight.
Tomorrow we start for home, after 74 days. We'll only be home a week, restocking for our next trip. We are so low on product. Then we'll go home one more time to restock again for our last trip, to Las Vegas.
