We had a fantastic afternoon. First we went to the White Sands Missile Range Museum. There must have been at least 50 different kinds of missiles out there, including one that looks like a flying saucer. The weather was perfect.
Next we went back to the White Sands National Monument. This time we drove through since we didn't have the truck. It's amazing to have this huge beach in the middle of New Mexico. I took way too many pictures, but it was so pretty out there. We actually got out and climbed a sand dune. Lots of kids had sleds. We didn't. I set down to slide, but it didn't work. It was worth a try.
