There isn't much to tell about today. We took the truck to the repair shop at 8:30. We were able to stay in the truck while they worked on the truck. By 1:00 we were driving away with smiles on our faces. The brakes were fixed! They replaced two parts. By 1:05 Jim knew the problem was not completely fixed. We went back at 2:00 and set there until 5:00, when it really was fixed. It got very hot in the truck. And I'm so glad that I had a book to read.
They had to send someone to El Paso, TX to get another part for the brakes. When they finally installed it on the truck, they realized that the original part had been put on backwards. Amazing! How many millions of miles have been driven with backwards brakes????
I just marvel at God's timing and protection. Any problem with brakes and tires can be life threatening. He protects us daily and carries us through until we can get to a place that can fix things, and we always have an empty time slot of time to fix it. Isn't that wonderful?
