Our sale as suppose to be from 1-4:00 today in El Paso We drove up to the Church at 12:00. Before Jim even had the motor turned off, a lady was at our door asking if we were open yet. I don't quite understand that kind of mentality. No, we weren't open for another 5-7 minutes. It takes us that long to get set up. We probably sold $1000 worth of food and books before we were suppose to open at 1:00.
Jim had a nice surprise during the sale. A man that he worked with in Christian Record Services for the Blind, came on the truck. He came especially to see Jim, he didn't even buy anything!
When we come to El Paso, they fix a lunch as a fund raiser. We really had a BIG turn out. I think El Paso is our biggest one day sale - always. They about run us out of merchandise. One more sale before we restock in Keene.
We drove on to Van Horn, TX after the sale (which lasted until 6 instead of 4:00). So we ended up with an eleven hour day. I'm tired!!!
